For those of you who are interested in the theories behind the Hub Foresight process..
Foresight in general and the generic foresight process
The Hub Foresight process will be based on a couple of theoretical frameworks from the futures and strategic foresight field, but also from organisational transformation and change.

Open Foresight
"Open Foresight is a process for analysing complex issues in an open and collaborative way, and to raise the bar on public discourse and forward-focused critical thinking. It draws on well-established methodologies from the Futures Studies field, principles from design thinking, and visual communication tools to create a framework for building forecasts and scenarios."
From the Future of Facebook project
We aim to use the principles of open foresight as much as possible. The Future of Hub will start out as a collaborative foresight project within the Hub community, but we will discuss ways of "opening" up the process beyond the Hub members.
